With 5 new scenarios to play, and a wealth of new armies to assemble for Battle Mode, this expansion steeps you in the history and mythology of pagan Eastern Europe, as the Grand Order of Teutonic Knights seek to bring Christianity to the pagans, and carve themselves out an empire in the process.
This expansion continues the previous Time of Legends mixture of historical and mythological forces. On the one hand, we have the mortal armies of the Teutonic Knights and their Polish-Lithuanian foes; on the other, we have the pagan gods and spirits who oppose the Teutonic crusade. Together, they tell the grim tale of the Papal crusade to crush the pagans in the north.
