Thirteen years ago, the Divine Dragon Rangers rose to protect Earth from a mysterious alien invasion or so the world believes. In reality, the alien army was defeated within the first year and has since been enslaved, forced to churn out "monster of the week" battles to entertain the masses. They are no longer true villains, just prisoners in costumes reliving endless defeats.

But one alien has had enough. Determined to shatter this twisted system, he sets out to rebel against the Rangers from within. With the fate of both humans and monsters at stake, the stage is set for an explosive battle against the strongest heroes humanity has ever known.
