Then the competing mages explore the realms of forest, mountain, and underworld, combating fearsome monsters and collecting magical runes along the way.
Players can use their runes to cast spells to aid their quest or to inhibit their opponents, or choose to save their runes for completing their rune recipe. Achieving the right balance of how to use your cards and when to interfere is the key to victory.
